Built in the 1880's on the Warren Williams ranch on what is now the SW corner of West Williams and Maine St. At the time this school was built it was one of the only two buildings in Fallon, along with Jim Richards store. The first teacher here was Mal Hootman, later Mrs. Fred Small. Other teachers were Wallace Ferguson, Mrs Callie Ferguson, Lon Webb, Mrs McCart and Mrs E.S. Harriman. This was used a school untill 1902 when the New River school district decided they would need a bigger building for the growing number of children in Fallon. This building was then sold to the A.R. Jeffereys family who moved it to to the first block of the east side of Maine street and used it as a saloon. In 1905 the building was used by W.J. Vannoy as his harness shop. The building was moved to 76 N. Maine street in the 1920's when the Rex Theater was built. in the 1940's the building was used by George Wilbur as a show shop, and in the 2000's as a bail bonds agency.
