The first Soda Lake school opened in March of 1911. This school united with "Con B" in July of 1918.

Residents of the New School District taking in the Theelan ranch and Soda Lake, have been hustling for funds to help purchase material for a school house and have succeeded first rate. The material was taken out the past week and the residents of the district will put up the building. They have engaged Miss Barber as teacher. She taught in Missouri the past year, but has relatives residing in this locality.
