Description
Sheckler School
To Be Incorporated
As Non-Tax Unit
Sheckler Farm Bureau
Responsible; Hold Meet
To Elect New Officers
By Mrs. George Elliott
The old Sheckler schoolhouse,
• which was formerly government owned, and not, according to a general understanding, under tthe jurisdiction of the TCID, but was a government grant to the residents of Shackled district to be used for an educational or com¬munity center, is to be incorporated this week as a non-taxable and non-assessable corporation under the laws of Nevada. The necessary legal papers are being drawn up by the law firm of Johnson and Primea. ux, who have kindly donated their services.
At a special meeting called in 1 June, of all members of the Sheckler Farm Bureau, the following board of directors were elected: Ralph Matlack, chairman, Tom Inglis, Gene Dean, John Mans-felt and Clarence Johnson.
Formation of a corporation has enabled the Sheckler Farm Bureau to take out insurance on the property covering public liability and property damage, fire and theft, with the R. T. Walker and Bob Ogden insurance agencies, eliminating the liability of any individual or committee for damage suits. Several other communities in the county with the same type of property, are greatly interested in the advantages
