Description
There was a Stillwater School District established as early as 1872, althogh the exact location of that school is unclear. The grammar school that is located at 11417 Stillwater Rd was completedt in February of 1918. It was designed by William Mallis with two classrooms, one for grades 1-4 and one for 5-8. This School is structurally similar to the one built in Hazen the same year. The Stillwater school held graduations unill 1956.
